I do not accept insurance. Please reach out to your insurance carrier to verify your out-of-network benefits. I am here to support you through this process as well!

More flexibility with how sessions are structured.
Access to therapists with advanced training and specializations.
Greater privacy since your treatment details are not shared with insurance companies.

The short answer: It depends.
Some clients get what they need in 3-6 months. Others want to focus on new goals upon reaching their initial ones. Some people choose to stay in therapy long term to as a supportive place to process thoughts, feelings, and events.
Therapy is an incredibly individual process, and being a human means ever evolving challenges. When you feel like you’ve gotten all you need, we will discuss wrapping up.

Research suggests that the more consistently you meet with your therapist at the beginning of treatment, the better the long-term outcome. I request a commitment to weekly therapy for the first 8 to 10 weeks. Depending on your progress, feelings, and needs, we may choose to continue therapy weekly or reduce to bi-weekly or monthly.

We begin with a free 15-minute consultation call. This gives us a chance to briefly discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, answer any initial questions, and see if we may be a good fit to work together.
If it feels like a good match, we’ll then schedule an intake session where I can learn more about you, your goals, and how I can best support you moving forward.

I aim to keep sessions on a consistent, recurring schedule whenever possible. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, which helps support continuity and progress in therapy. Research shows that consistent session times can improve engagement, therapeutic momentum, and overall outcomes.
I understand that life happens, so I do my best to be flexible with rescheduling when needed. That said, maintaining a regular schedule is often the most helpful and effective way to get the most out of therapy.
